For parents and early childhood educators.
This creative, interactive workshop enables participants to recognize the differences between stories that portray animals and the natural world inaccurately and those with a respectful focus.
Parents and educators will learn to identify concepts of animals and the natural world as presented in children's literature. The messages contained in these stories can have a lasting impact on children and influence the ways in which they view and interact with animals and the natural world. Participants will come away with new ideas about how to teach children that we all can share this wonderful world and live in harmony with one another.
